new mills festival art trail at the heritage centre

The Heritage Centre comprises a shop, cafe and museum space in the centre of New Mills.

Visitors benefit from the selection of local tourist information, trail guides, walking books and maps, local history publications, gifts and souvenirs.

The Centre is on the track leading down into the 'Torrs', a dramatic gorge above which the town perches. More than 12,000 people visit the centre annually, with the Festival period being particularly vibrant.

The cafe hosts a rolling programme of exhibitions and artists are invited to apply to exhibit for the duration of the Art Trail as part of New Mills Festival.
