Join a choir for the day, to rehearse and perform a selection of songs from the ground breaking Beatles’ album Sgt. Pepper plus other well-known songs from the era. As a choir, you will learn distributed material from scratch, rehearsed during the day by choral director Eleanor Mottershead with piano accompaniment from Tim Mottershead - and you will perform to a live audience the same evening!
Tim Mottershead has been a professional musician since 1987. He is a pianist & piano teacher, composer, & writer, with a long list of engagements around the UK, students, compositions, & publications. Awards include first prize at the 2000 Buxton Fringe Festival, & nominations for two awards in 2008. Eleanor Mottershead is a recent music theatre graduate. She is a vocal coach, singer, & actor. She already has numerous theatre & vocal credits, and runs the ‘Let’s Sing Choir’ which has previously appeared at number of events including New Mills Christmas Lights and New Mills Carnival.
