It is an open submission accepting artwork in any form, drawing, painting, film, sculpture, photography etc. We want to see how creative you can be!

Why you should enter

It’s a great opportunity to be part of a professionally run exhibition with a high standard of work. HPYA will act as an excellent addition to your CV or UCAS application. It’s also a great way to meet future artists from your area and make your work accessible to the wider public.
A chance to sell your work and to meet the art buying public. If you want to make a living from your art this could be a great way to start.
This exhibition is not for profit and all of the submission fees will be used to cover running costs at no profit to the organisers.
This show will be curated by:
Clare Allan – A professional artist from the High Peak who uses the local landscape for inspiration. www.clareallanart.com
Ellen Dean – A second year History of Art student at the University of Manchester working on a career in curating and event management.
Gillian Tomlinson – Vice Chair of the trustees of Spring Bank Arts Centre, where the exhibition will take place. Passionate about bringing art and culture out of the city and to the next generation.

This beautifully restored arts and crafts chapel in the centre of the High Peak, has hosted professional art exhibitions for Derbyshire Open Arts for the past ten years. It is an impressive backdrop for music, drama and the arts in a rural community. www.springbankarts.org.uk
