The rich cultural heritage of Iran through its Culinary customs will be celebrated in The Butterfly House at The Torrs during this year's festival. Being of Iranian Heritage herself, Jilah, the Proprietor of this popular Artisan Cafe Bar, will indulge her passion for Persian Food and share the many regional dishes of Iran in her Breakfast and Lunchtime menu to include Vegetarian and Vegan Regional Classics from the North Iranian Provinces of Rasht and Gillan as well as the quintessential Lamb, Chicken & Fish dishes that characterize the country as a whole. Expect a taste explosion from recipes that use combinations of Cinnamon, Saffron, Cumin, Turmeric, Sumac, Dried Limes, Sour Grapes, Lots of Fresh and Dried Herbs, Dried Apricots, Dates, Sour Cherries, Pomegranate, Rose Water and Cardamon, to name but a few of the characteristic ingredients which create the delicious flavors that are so typical of Iranian Cuisine.
