Tracy Fennell has worked as an illustrator for several years, working within the publishing, advertising and editorial fields, using a wide range of media, primarily inks and watercolours, with the addition of digital applications. She began working for children’s publications and was nominated for the ‘Mother Goose Award’ for her BBC picture book ‘Owl’ and has continued to work in publishing and more recently fashion illustration.
Tracy also worked as a lecturer in Stockport College for several years, teaching life drawing, image-making and print. Her career spanned over several levels, introducing visual skills to a variety of creative courses; this included the delivery of both traditional and digital media within Graphics and Illustration. Tracy also runs workshops, teaching life drawing and visual skills in 'the studios' in Derbyshire.
