"Currently I am influenced by traditional fairground art, art deco, nothing too heavy - I just enjoy the sweep and the curve, the curl and love the colour.  I am primarily an illustrator - my training being "Visual Communication", having studied in Belfast University, then spent numerous years working in and around Belfast and Northern Ireland on many Community art projects.  Since returning to Derbyshire (family beckoned me back) I have been concentrating on all things illustrative and following my current passion with pattern and colour, as is hopefully highlighted in my paintings."
