THE PINHOLE STUDIO - LEE FINCH
Mooring near top of Victoria Street, SK22 3HE Saturdays 11am-4pm during the festival.
Displayed on board a 45ft narrow boat. Come aboard and experience the Pinhole Studio to learn about different photographic processes and techniques of photograms - images made without the use of a camera by exposing objects directly onto light sensitive material. Showcasing a new body of work created in collaboration with the Manchester Museum and based upon their Natural History collection. The work includes natural forms, flora and fauna, animal skeletons and examples of insects and bugs from around the world. Also part of Art in Windows Trail.
Sunday Workshops - 'Making Photograms' 10-12pm 'Introduction to Pinhole Photography' 2-4pm
Each session will begin with a presentation and demonstration. Participants will then make their own photograms or pinhole images. £20 per person per workshop Places limited to 5. (Cost includes all materials and equipment will be provided).
