The Soul's Reward:
Vocal sculptor and human beatboxer Jason Singh performs a unique set of new music and material from his recently released album. Using just his voice and a range of samplers and effects pedals, Singh creates beautiful ambient soundscapes and ethereal vocal textures which engage and transport the listener to a place of deep meditative calmness.
Waste:
In response to Jason Singh’s otherworldly music, artist Lyn Bannister has created an installation 'Waste', in the main body of St Georges Church. For the duration of the festival a ceiling of thousands of white feathers representing the essence of the individuals that have passed through the church will be suspended high above the main aisle.
