Announcement: White Van Man

Local star band White Van Man is playing to the lantern procession finale crowd at the Rec just before the fireworks go off. White Van Man will be playing from the back of the lorry- provided by Crabtrees- for up to an hour – playing high energy up to date covers in their own inimitable style.

White Van Man have a big following far beyond the shores of New Mills and are fronted by local man Tony Audenshaw also known as Bob Hope from the TV soap Emmerdale

The New Mills Community Orchard Group are offering people the opportunity to have a tour around the orchard and some information about how it was created, future plans and info about the Group it's activities, meeting etc.
Anyone interested should meet at 2.00 pm on Sunday 21st September at the front of High Lea Hall, High Lea Park - a further tour may be available at 3.00 or 3.30 ish depending on the amount of interest.
